Gdansk day 9 Town hall

First, there are no posts between day 6 and day 9. Ok, so what have been today’s happenings? The answer is: The town hall and tower. This is located in the old town square. It started of with some really nice rooms and ceiling paintings. Here are some photos of this fantastic place. Anita and the kids also went up in the tower. We decided to try to get a table at a very popular restaurant which is serving potato meals in different varieties. It’s hard to get a table there without waiting for a long time. Potato, bacon, mushroom, sour creme and some other really tasty goodies. Verdict: 5/5 😎 We also visited a really nice perfume store: Perfumeria Quality Missala. . We used both time and money there. We got excellent service and help. I should have known that it was at the higher price range when it came hidden in a book as it was during the ww2. They hid these things from the Germans in books.

My ride

My bike is a Harley Davidson Fxdl Lowrider 2007. When I bought it, it was pretty original. It had stock pipes, air cleaner and nothing extra. I had to rub and polish a lot. It hadn’t got much love and care before it ended up at my place. Here’s a couple of before and after images. And more has happened after that. Vance and Hines pipes, new air cleaner and engine guards have been fitted on the bike. I like how it changed the look. Now it’s ready for more. Not sure what but I’m looking for details to add to make it look better. The bag on the sissy bar will be removed. Stay tuned for more.

Slayer concert this evening.

Slayer is big! Slayer is hard! Slayer is a steam locomotives coming in full speed and hits you with full power. They’re the angels of death!! They’re the definition of thrash metal. Do they deliver? Hell yeah!! Lights, pyro, sound and stage design was incredible. It gave the good old Slayer feeling. The guys, grandpa aged, was not showing any signs of being nothing less than the true Gods of metal. How do they keep up? Impressive!! Lamb of God did also give an excellent performance. I must admit that I haven’t listened so much to their records but that changes now. This gave me a taste for more. I got a bit disappointed by Anthrax. Maybe I had to high expectations. I think they almost seemed tired and not that “tight” playing. They left out a couple of really good oldies I think. Too bad. Obituary was also great performing. Have never heard them before.
